Well, today was pretty uneventful, as is usually the case during the summer. I actually went to bed a bit early and woke up at 10:30. Mom had gotten me up and commanded we go to the movies. Sometimes she really does try to hard to make our family work sometimes. And by work...I mean "get along". I usually end up getting snipped at, then snipping back, in turn making her snip at Dad, who snips at me for getting her riled up (confused yet?). So yeah... But to make things worse, Mom decided we had to pick Grandma up as well. Don't get me wrong, I love being with family, but my grandmother is in the stage where she conveniently hears what she wants and only talks about her aches n' pains and financial situations. She also has a nack for pointing out rude things in public, she definetly has no tact. Of course, when she's with us, those little things seem to magnify. We ate lunch at the Olive Garden, and it, being a classy place, gave her plenty of space to act up. While sitting there eating my cheese ravioli, she suddenly points a finger at a lady walking by and states "Veanna, did you see that pitiful old lady? She's as wide as this table...". My mom got a horrified look and pretended not to hear my grandmother....as did Dad and Myself. I think after that we all ate in a hurry and got out of there. So we made our way to the Ridgmar Rave and checked to see what time POTC:3 started only to find that the mall's electricity was haywire and the fire alarms were all buzzing. Standing in the main lobby at the box office while covering our ears, Grandma says "This is louder than a bunch of trailer trash Mexican-folks drinking beer and having a good time". I almost ran away because right behind us was a family of Hispanic people....glaring. Strike 2 for Grandma. But the thing that really set everyone off was in the car on the way home. We were discussing the fact that a cousin of mine was going back to Iraq in a few weeks, and Grandma was saying she felt sorry for them because they had to risk their lives and all. I made the simple comment that he chose that line of work, so there was no use feeling sorry for them. Mom chewed me out, which I expected anyways, but Grandma speaks up with "Veanna, you need pills....hormone pills" and then glanced at me adding "Don't you think she needs pills Jordan?". At that moment in life, I actually considered suicide by jumping out the car window....So yep, that's my insane family for you....

So I made this LJ account....now I'd better put it to some use, eh?

Not much has happened recently in the life of Rukia Kuchiki. Rather dull actually. My highlights are usually getting online or texting my online buddies since they tend to be a lot more patient than my actual ones nearby. I feel like I'm always so busy when I really don't do that much....sleeping until 1 everyday and then waking to do the occasional cleanup or errand of some sort. Although, this week, I plan on learning how to sew so that I can make my Karakura uniform. I hope that goes over well ;; -crosses fingers-. Anywho, I'm going to try to get some well-deserved rest, night all!

Hah, First Entry!
